When will my order arrive?

Estimated shipping times after dispatch. My regular posting days are Tuesdays and sometimes Fridays.

United Kingdom: 1-3 business days

North America: 1-4 weeks

Europe: 3-20 business days

Australia, New Zealand and Oceania: 2-6 weeks

Everywhere else: 1-6 weeks

Items are usually posted within 1-5 working days unless made to order as noted on individual products. As we are based in the UK, all goods are shipped from the United Kingdom and therefore orders made from countries outside of the U.K may be subject to further duties and import costs. Mille Saisons is not liable for the costs and they must be covered by the customer.

Shipping estimates for abroad are based on time frames given by Royal Mail and on your package entering your country. Please be aware that parcels may take longer to be processed through customs.

Please be aware that shipping estimates are estimates only and if you require faster shipping, please get in contact for a courier quote or choose a shipping upgrade at the checkout.

Items are not considered lost by the mail service until 10 working days after the estimated arrival date within the UK, after 25 working days for European orders and 32 working days for the rest of the world.

If you need an item faster, we are always happy to organise a faster courier service. Please email for a courier quote.

Import duties

From 1st July 2021 in the EU, import duties, taxes and handling fees will be charged by your relevant customs authority as our prices are not inclusive of these. Please refer to your customs authority for more information on charges prior to purchase.

Custom duties to all other international countries will remain the same and you can still check with your country’s customs office to find out more information on application duties.

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply and are liable for paying the charges.


Please note if you refuse to pay any customs duties on your order then this will be classed as a refused delivery and will not be eligible for any postage refunds. Refunds will only be given when the order has arrived back and unfortunately with refused items, this is not always guaranteed or can take months to return.

Why do you use a silk spandex mix?

The 6% spandex in the silk holds the fabric weave together better creating a stronger, more durable fabric. A little extra stretch also helps our products like our headbands fit better.

Do you accept custom orders?

Yes! As everything is manufactured in house, we can alter our accessories to completely suit you or even come up with something bespoke. Please email for more information.

What colours do you keep in stock?

You can see our colour chart below

While we work to ensure that the colours shown are accurate, due to variances in computer monitors please be aware that the colours may vary. Silk batches may also vary slightly in colour.

I am always happy to send out fabric colour swatches for the cost of the stamp, just send me a message.

How is my order packaged?


Your order will come wrapped in tissue paper or gift boxed/in a drawstring bag if mentioned in the description. Items are not wrapped individually unless requested to reduce waste.

Outer packaging is usually paper or cardboard and any bubble wrap used is reused from local shops and deliveries. You can request swing tags to be added at the checkout as these are not included as standard.

Gift note and gift wrapping options are now available here. Items are wrapped together unless additional gift wrapping is purchased for each item.

Discount codes

Discount codes are not valid on sale items, custom or made to order items, introductory prices, face masks or sets with a value saving already applied. Mailing list subscription discount code can only be used once per person and discounts cannot be applied after an order has been placed.

Where do you manufacture?

All of our silk accessories are made here in the UK in our studio.

Where do you source your fabrics?

All of our plain silks come from one supplier in China who pay their workers a better wage for their skilled work. Our plain silk is dyed with AZO free dye and the fabric is OEKO-TEX certified.
